Tecapsy –Trans European Carpooling and Parking System- provides innovative, market tested services for increasing mobility: e-carpooling service, i-parking service and digital mobility centre.     Carpooling, when combined with car parking incentives, has been demonstrated to be an effective solution in reducing traffic and increasing mobility by several R+D European funded projects (CARPLUS). TECAPSY takes this idea one step further by testing the market and developing a Business Plan for introducing a system that allows available car parking spaces to be offered to carpools. The guarantee of a car parking space increases accessibility for carpoolers and is a significant advantage. TECAPSY will prove that this is a viable system with which to stimulate the large market potential for carpooling.     TECAPSY is a Feasibility and Market Validation project co-funded by the European Commission under the Ten-Telecom Program , integrated in the area of Transport and mobility.
